QR
Codes

Every short link gets a branded QR code automatically. View, download, and share QR codes for any of your links.

How It Works

Every short link you create on Lnkk.it automatically gets a QR code. The QR code encodes your short URL so when someone scans it with their phone camera, they're taken directly to your destination URL. QR codes are generated on-demand via the /api/shortlinks/[id]/qr endpoint — no setup required.

How to View a QR Code

1

Go to your links

Open Dashboard → Link Shortener to see your link library.

2

Open the menu

Click the three-dot menu (⋮) on the link card you want a QR code for.

3

Select "QR Code"

Click the QR Code option. A modal opens showing your generated QR code.

4

Download or share

Right-click the QR image to save it, or use the download button if available.

Tips

QR codes are free for every link — no Pro plan required to generate them

The QR code always points to your short URL, so if you update the destination, the QR stays the same

Test your QR code by scanning it with your phone before printing or sharing

Use custom aliases for cleaner-looking short URLs underneath the QR code

Pair QR codes with link analytics to track how many scans come from offline sources

Don't set an expiration on links used for QR codes on permanent print materials
