Adding &
Managing Links

Add links, reorder with drag-and-drop, set thumbnails, and control visibility — the core of your link-in-bio page.

Anatomy of a Link

Each link on your page has these properties

Title

The display name for your link — shown as the button text on your page

URL

The destination URL. Visitors click the link and are redirected here

Thumbnail

Optional icon or image displayed next to the link title. Upload a custom icon or use a platform icon

Visibility

Toggle links on/off without deleting them. Hidden links are saved but not shown to visitors

Order

Drag links up or down to rearrange. The order on the editor matches the order on your live page

How to Add a Link

1

Click "+ Add"

Tap the floating "+ Add" button at the bottom-right of the editor.

2

Choose "Link"

Select "Link" from the quick actions at the top, or paste any URL into the search bar.

3

Fill in details

Enter the title (button text), paste the URL, and optionally upload a thumbnail icon.

4

Save

Click save to add the link to your page. It appears at the bottom of your links list.

Smart URL Detection: Paste any URL into the add modal's search bar and Lnkk.it auto-detects the platform — YouTube links open the video embed form, Spotify links open the music embed form, and so on.

Managing Your Links

5 actions available for each link

Reorder

Click and drag the grip handle on the left side of any link to move it up or down

Edit

Click on a link to expand it and edit the title, URL, or thumbnail

Show/Hide

Toggle the eye icon to hide a link from your public page without deleting it

Delete

Click the trash icon to permanently remove a link from your page

Open URL

Click the external link icon to open the URL in a new tab and verify it works

Tips

Put your most important links at the top — visitors see top links first on mobile

Use descriptive titles instead of raw URLs (e.g. "My Latest Album" instead of "open.spotify.com/...")

Add thumbnails to links for a more visual, clickable appearance

Use the visibility toggle to A/B test — hide underperforming links instead of deleting them

Links with custom thumbnails get significantly higher click-through rates
